Founder and President of WordWorks, Denise has nearly 30 years of experience in all facets of public relations and marketing communications in both traditional and social media. A results-oriented communications strategist, she offers specialized expertise in the areas of travel and tourism, technology, consumer products, and the Arts.  

Denise manages WordWorks Enterprises LLC, a full-service public relations and marketing agency providing a broad range of communications solutions.

Denise Caiazzo

She has developed and implemented public relations and marketing programs that brought Travelsavers (an international marketing organization for travel agencies) to the forefront of the travel industry; The Affluent Traveler and JOURNEYS magazines have won Magellan Awards under her direction as senior editor. She also created communications programs that moved the needle on sales for cutting-edge technology clients; and developed a publicity campaign that secured a position for Simmons Market Research Bureau as an authoritative source for consumer behavior and purchasing trends.

Prior to founding WordWorks, Denise was a Vice President at Ketchum Public Relations, where she supervised a national public relations program for Budget Rent a Car’s 35th anniversary that won a prestigious Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America (the Oscar of the PR world). Other award-winning programs, recognized by the Hospitality & Sales Marketing Association International, included the “Travel Barometer” survey of travel trends; an internal crisis response plan; and various publicity placements. In addition, she supervised the team that developed a targeted media relations campaign for The Peninsula Group. Among other key clients served during her tenure at Ketchum were: Visa, World Travel & Tourism Council, Academy of Travel & Tourism, Norelco, Mobil, Hallmark and Reebok.

As a volunteer consultant with the Arts & Business Council, Denise has supported New York arts organizations with strategic planning and media relations guidance. She served for several years on the Executive Board and Steering Committee of the New York Philharmonic’s Volunteer Council. She has also co-presented workshops on creativity. In addition, with music and dance being personal passions, Denise has taught salsa, belly dancing and yoga. She is also a Success Coach, guiding individuals to achieve their greatest personal and business dreams. And was a co-author for a personal development book that became a best-seller at Barnes & Noble.

Denise holds a B.A. in Journalism from Temple University, specializing in Public Relations. She has been a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Society of American Travel Writers, American Society of Journalists & Authors, American Federation of Musicians, Metropolitan Opera Guild, New York Philharmonic Volunteer Council, New York City Opera Guild, and Earthwatch.
